At Chibiscus, Asian Cafe and Restaurant on Sunset Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood, the scene is casual with a few small tables but the attention to detail in the kitchen is anything but casual. Chef Prinya Siripaibul, from Thailand, is the owner of Chibiscus.Rice balls here include a secret menu rice ball, which is an overnight marinated chicken cooked for three hours and then flame heated.
其他的特色包括手做饭团里夹烤午餐肉,外面裹着素火腿。Prinya说他从小就学习烹饪,饭团的特色就是方便快捷。“随时随地都能享用饭团的美味,你能打包带走,既可野餐也可堂食。”

Other highlights include rice balls, albeit not very spherical in shape, made with grilled spam and vegetarian ham on the outside.Prinya says he's been cooking since he was a child and that the rice ball trend has to do with its convenience."It's very easy to enjoy anytime, anyway, you can pack it to go. You can go to a picnic or you can eat in a restaurant"
And there's no let-up. Back in the kitchen, Prinya is hard at work leading his small team to prepare another fresh batch of rice balls.
